Admission Procedure

B.Tech (All Disciplines) - Duration: 4 Years

Convener Quota
To seek admission into First Year of Four-Year B.Tech Course in any branch, through Convener Quota He/She must satisfy the following requirements

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the State through a common entrance test EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by EAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates

70 % of the seats are allotted under Convener Quota based on the merit in the EAMCET conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

Management Quota
To seek admission under Management Quota, he/she must satisfy the following requirements.

A Student should have secured not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects taken together/ aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations.

30 % of the seats are embarked for Management / NRI candidates.

Note: No reservation biased or any other concession will be given under Management Quota

Lateral Entry Admissions – B.Tech (All Disciplines)

Students of Diploma stream are admitted at second year level of the four year bachelor degree programme (B.Tech) to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
