Along from academic excellence, KPRIT Promotes extra-curricular activities to ensure all around development of personality. The Students Activity Centre (SAC) is the regulatory body governing different student activities at KPRIT . At the apex of this structure is the Professor in Charge (Student Affairs) – he is assisted by the Faculty (Students Activity Centre) and by various Student office bearer, in charge of different activities. Students at KPRIT engage themselves in a large number of extra-curricular activities, and a student can find an interest group corresponding to almost any hobby. State-of-the-art facilities are available in the SAC. Cultural activities are a set of performing and non-performing arts, which are run by a set of clubs corresponding to different skills and interests. The lively club culture on campus is something unique to KPRIT, and IT helps to nurture and develop talent in multi-dimensionally.

While the institute puts the students to higher degree of learning through this approach of beyond the text book and the students are guided by providing full freedom to develop the capabilities and qualities in handling several activities like, IEEE, ISTE, ISRD, CSI etc.

KPRIT follows certain explicit approaches by drawing greater opportunity to the students for conducting the seminars, presenting the papers, project developments, development of prototype models, etc. As part of this the 1st year students are encouraged to present papers in some specific forums.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

With the goal to work for the betterment of society and instill the spirit of social service among the young students, KPRIT established NSS at institute level, headed by Faculty in Charge, KPRIT. At Present, NSS, KPRIT has over 100 active members from different disciplines, working rigorously for community health care, literacy drives, and environmental protection, education in the rural schools. Blood donation camps, informative lecture on human values are organized regularly. The aim of the organization is to produce engineers, who are socially responsible, and work for the development of nation.

NSS STUDENT VOLUNTEER:

Student Clubs

Departmental Associations: Every Department has its own association, which organizes lectures / seminars / debates/conferences regularly.

Students clubs: Robotics Club, English Club, Literary Club, Cultural Club, Innovation Club

NSS: With the help of student clubs, regularly organizes Blood donation camps, blood testing, eye donation camps and other health awareness programs in the campus and outside the campus to create awareness in the students. With so many student clubs & associations, the campus is always buzzing with activity.
